242nd ACS National Meeting in Denver, CO: Abstract Submission deadline coming

American Chemical Society's 242nd national meeting is going to be held in Denver, CO, USA from Aug. 28-Sept. 1, 2011. Abstract submission is now open. Deadlines to submit abstract are on 3rd week of March and 1st week of April for most of the divisions. For analytical chemistry division, it is on Mar. 21st. ACS is a congressionally chartered independent membership organization which represents professionals at all degree levels and in all fields of chemistry and sciences that involve chemistry. Founded in 1876 at New York University, the ACS currently has more than 161,000 members at all degree-levels and in all fields of chemistry, chemical engineering, and related fields. It is the world's largest scientific society and one of the leading sources of authoritative scientific information.

ACS national meetings are held twice a year and each one attracts as estimate of 11000-13000 chemists, chemical engineers, academicians, graduate and undergraduate students, and other related professionals. It is a good opportunity for graduate students to share their findings, making professional networks etc.
